A brand new BRAVIA 4K HDR OLED TV featuring Sony’s latest technologies

Sony announced the all new BRAVIA A8F 4K HDR OLED TV recently, expanding their BRAVIA LED line-up of cutting-edge premium OLED TVs to a wider audience. The new A8F inherits Sony’s unique 4K HDR picture processor-X1 Extreme, and the Acoustic sound Surface technology to give not only high visual quality but awe-inspiring sound.

As an OLED TV, the A8F series produces an incredibly detailed picture with deep blacks, rich and realistic colors and an exceptionally wide viewing angle. Sony’s more than half a century worth of picture processing expertise lends to precise control of the 9 million OLED pixels for a stunning realization of an unparalleled 4K HDR
picture, while Acoustic Surface Technology allows the sound to come from the screen, creating an entertainment experience with beautiful picture.

The A8F features OLED as a display device with 8 million self-illuminating pixels, bringing a significantly enriched visual experience with unprecedented black, authentic color, and a wide viewing angle.

As stated above, it also houses the 4K HDR Processor X1 Extreme for the ultimate in 4K HDR viewing experience though incorporating three technologies: Object based HDR Remaster, Super bit Mapping 4K HDR and Dual database processing.

The BRAVIA A8F also features TRILUMINOS Display to further enhance color accuracy and vibrancy with expanded color. Also, by using technologies like 4K X-Reality PRO, the A8F produces stunning detail with Sony’s unique algorithm of reality creation database for any content, such as TV broadcasts, DVD, Blu-ray Disc, Internet videos and digital photos. The A8F is also HDR compatible to receive and proces the new video standard signal with higher brightness, higher contrast and more vibrant colors via Internet video services and HDMI.
