of a woman earlier this month. Recent court documents reveal that Comanche confessed to law enforcement officers, admitting to strangling the victim before disposing of her body in a desolate Nevada desert.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's investigation details, Comanche, along with his ex-girlfriend, 19-year-old Sakari Harnden, played a role in the disappearance of Marayna Rodgers. The unfolding events began when Comanche, in town for a G League game with the Stockton Kings on December 4, developed a plan with Harnden to address an apparent dispute between Rodgers and the women.

The documents state that Comanche disclosed during interviews that he and Harnden enticed Rodgers out on December 6 under the pretense of compensating her for sexual acts. After luring Rodgers into a vehicle and obtaining alcohol from a nearby store, they purportedly created an illusion of engaging in intimate acts within the vehicle. However, as per the documents, Comanche admitted to using an HDMI cord to strangle Rodgers for approximately 10 seconds. Allegedly, Harnden continued to choke her until she became unresponsive.

Law enforcement officials assert that once they believed Rodgers was deceased, Comanche and Harnden disposed of her body in a ditch, subsequently burying it with rocks. Comanche was taken into custody on December 15 while practicing with the Kings. Initially booked on a kidnapping charge, he is now expected to face formal murder charges. The 27-year-old, 6-foot-10 center, who has only played in one NBA game in his career, appeared stoic in court in Sacramento County on Tuesday before waiving his extradition. He is anticipated to be transported to Las Vegas in the coming days.

Harnden, arrested on December 13 in Las Vegas, is also facing a murder charge in connection with this disturbing incident.
