Grieving the Nightmare: Mike Rotunda on Bray Wyatt

Speaking on the "Wrasslin Talk with Mayor McCall" podcast, Rotunda revealed that life without Bray Wyatt, whose real name is Windham Rotunda, has become an ongoing "nightmare."

Expressing the difficulty of coping with the loss, Rotunda stated, "It's been really hard. We miss him every day." He recounted the times when his children would accompany him on the road during his wrestling days, making the absence of Bray Wyatt even more poignant. "It's so hard to wake up out of this nightmare and he's still not there," Rotunda added.

The wrestling legend further shared the emotional challenge his family faces, particularly during a time, when Windham was supposed to marry his partner, Jojo. Despite the heartache, Rotunda acknowledged WWE's support, commending the organization for granting Windham a Legends contract and providing financial assistance to his four children through merchandise sales.

Describing Bray Wyatt's vibrant personality, Rotunda fondly remembered him as a "jolly fellow" who brought joy and laughter wherever he went. "He loved to laugh, he was loud, always laughing and he lit up a room. He lit up the wrestling business," Rotunda reflected. Fans, in turn, have shown their support by wearing Windham's merchandise and sharing personal stories about the charismatic wrestler. Windham Rotunda, who faced heart complications leading up to his untimely death, passed away in August at the age of 36, leaving a void in the wrestling community.
